What am I reading?

Just a quick post to say that Marshal Zeringue has been kind enough to reveal my current and recent reading at Writers Read and the Campaign for the American Reader – both blogs being really good sources of reading inspiration (as if you needed more!).

Tony,
as I am writing a book ( novel) in which I refer to Edward Lear who found his vocation as a landscaper at a hill near Arundel and seeing the cover of your poetry album I am wondering if I should order your book. Has it in one way or another to do with our friend Edward Lear?

Wim,
Of course I'd be delighted if you bought my book – but I should confess it hasn't got anything to do with Lear. The Arundel Lane of the title isn't near Arundel. (And I don't know about his diaries either -sorry!)
But thanks for reading the blog. It's always nice to hear from other Lear fans. Good luck with the research/novel!
