I'm delighted to say that Salt have accepted my manuscript for publication, probably in summer 2009, and probably under the title The Corner of Arundel Lane and Charles Street. Hurray!
Many congrats, Tony. An excellent title, too, though I'm bound to be a bit biased as a Sheffielder!
Btw, the latest issue of Matter's launched next Wednesday (15th) at the Waterstones in Orchard Square - come along if you're free, 6pm start. There's also a reading at Hallam city campus by Jorie Graham the following week.

Well, you know what I think. Excellent news.
If only Tim and Frances had got their Forwards last week as well
Jim
Nic, a zillion thanks!
Ben, thanks - glad you like the title. It's certainly better than the stinkers I've thought up over the years.
I'd love to come to the Matter do, but I'm on babysitting duty. The Jorie Graham thing may be more do-able.
Ta, Jim. Yes, about the Forwards - both seemed to be widely tipped. Let's meet soon for coffee & denunciations.
